too much news

way too much news for one day yesterday... HRC speech (wow), US airstrike killed 60+ children in Afghanistan last friday, the US Ambassador to the UN is playing phone-tag with Pakistan's future as their coalition falters, US banks still in bad shape /may get worse, as does US home sales and the US auto industry may be in ever worse shape, and to top it all off (though i'm sure i've forgotten something) a very bad Hurricane arriving in the US during the GOP convention, even in New Orleans, is now a distinct possibility. (could there ever be a clearer sign from the gods than that?) ... and don't forget timetables, the Black Sea, Poti, and Cheney !!! (and now North Korea..again)
